at first I used to leave power mode on. Now I’ve been pushing the shifter to S mode and up s6 with power mode on as well.

besides possible lost of gas mileage is there any more extra wear and tear on the transmission if I daily drive like this?
When you say "power mode" are you referring to S+ ?

I'm 99% sure that is NOT what he is saying. You get to power mode through the DIC via the steering wheel controls. You get to Sx with the shifter.
you are 100% right. I meant the steering wheel control method and then shifting the shifter to the Sx.

Now i just leave it with the steering wheel control method and the shifter on D again.

Dont want to break anything.

Still haven't heard a definitive answer as to whether there is a difference between Power Mode vs S8. If you use both at the same time, does that mean you have double the power... LoL
