Need some advice. Going by the service manual and Edmunds.com I should be doing the following things to be replaced and inspected. Got quotes from independent shop and dealership and came out to about $300.
Both places tell me that the $300 doesn't include replacing the timing belt, and when I replace the timing belt I should do the water pump at the same time. What are your experiences with this type of service?

Thanks. I didn't find much doing a search. I guess I didn't use good keywords.
Anyways, would you recommend doing the t-stat and the water pump when doing the timing belt? Fairly expensive job. Got quoted somewhere between $700-800 for those three things and the 90k maintenance.

"90k Package"

Most of the packages they sell is just checking this or that and not much work. I paid less than $500 for everything. I figure every 90k is reasonable and I dont expect to have any cars to 180k myself. Look at the dealerships websites. Call around. You can get it done reasonably at a dealer you just have to shop around. If you like I can call my friend Herb Chambers and see if he can cut you a deal:lol: . Jon.
