Hey,

On my 93 Corolla i got new alternator because the old one died. Now i had it for about 4 months now and few week back till today the battery light keeps coming back up and blinking. It never stops doesn't matter if i am driving, stopping , turning every electrical component off ...etc. Now i measured the voltage that alternator is charging at little over 13 volts. Is there any to turn the volt down? Now what can be done to fix this problem ? Any ideas will be appreciated...

alternators should put out between 13 and 15 volts. usually around 14.5 volts. 13 is a little low.

Did you check your battery voltage & what's the reading?
Did you check the alternator belt if there isn't too much slack.

You also might want to check your ground, could be loose or cut.

check to make sure your alt belt is tight too. if its slipping, itll only catch the alternator once every few degrees of rotation
