I want to do an engine swap on my Toy. I asked around but just got radical answers. I'm looking for a motor that would not require too many modifications but will still give me something over 130HP. The cost is not really an option. I have a Toyota Paseo 1993 16V SOHC.

Did some say 4e-fte ???
if not, then i will. 4E-FTE!!!

Or if you wanna go all oout insane 4A-GZE but be warned you first ( and not the last ) problems will be engine mounts

I think i should stop giving all the secrets out, and let people do there own searchs.

Does anyone has a tutorial for a 4E-FTE swap i look around google and did not find anything. I dont care if it's a 3e-e to 4e-fte or 5e-fe to 4e-fte. I would just like a guide line

Hey, I Did A 4e-fte Swap In My Paseo But Im Not Sure What Else I Need To Get It To Run I Belive Its Spark Will A Stock Paseo Distributer Work On That Motor. And Does Anyone Know Were I Can Find Parts Like A Down Pipe Or Intercooler?? Oh Yeah And One More Thing Do You Have To Change The Cpu's??

yeah sorry bout that, do u think a mr2 ECU will work, i tried Diabolique Racing, they don't have anything for the 4e-fte right now. but thanx for the pointers, if u have any more tip let me know.
