Hey, I recently decided to do something very stupid and try to remove the old air intake system and replace it with piping and an air filter pod.

While removing the stock air intake system i tried to remove the control valve wiring at the end where the actual stock filter would go. I unscrewed it and tried pulling it out.

Everything came out fine, and i hooked up new piping and a filter, then upon starting it up it ran fine until i hit the gas and it's choking out.

I assume this is because of the air control valve in the front. SOOO I tried putting it back together and CANNOT for the life of me figure out how to put it back into the housing....

Can someone please help me?! I have work monday and the last thing i want to do is spend another $100 dollars at the dealer for a new one!

Thanks so much!

You could pick up a manual for it and read it... I am sure that both Haynes and Chiltons will have pictures that you can look at to see where you are messing up.
