best thing to do is pull the door panel and mter the speaker... if it meters fine place a tone generator on it.
96 Avalon FL speaker
My 96 Avalon XLS left front speaker isn't working. Balance and Fader controls seems to work OK. What's the best/easiest way to determine if the problem is with the speaker, or the CD/Radio, or the amp?

or try testing it with a AA battery.
+ to + of the spk, and - to the - of the speakers, you should hear a crackling sound.
