So I been messing with this car for a while was been doing good with it until now...
got a new oil pump installed and was doing spark plugs while doing timing i had spark plugs still out while filling with oil I had the funnel spill and dump oil into some of the cylinders really didnt want to start and sounded like timing was off, it was...even though it seemed cylinders were firing... I re did timing and its great and even now marks still all the marks line up... but now it seems that it won't fire up there is spark and smells like there is plenty of fuel...tested all kinds of stuff all fuses relays coils etc... wondering how bad this oil is and way to clean it out... without doing the head... if that could cause this
Really need an extra hand or a place that's trust worthy to send it too

If oil went into the plug-less cylinder, you can leave the plug out (remove the other leads so the engine doesn't try and start), and crank the engine for 10 or so seconds. It will pump excess oil (if there is enough to pump) out of the spark plug hole. If no oil or not much comes out, there probably isn't enough to cause a problem, other than smoking when the engine starts to run.
In terms of what can cause the no run, it's either:
  • Air - make sure air into the throttle body is unobstructed
  • Fuel - either pull the injectors and see if they pump, or try firing the car with starter spray.
  • Spark - pull a spark plug, ground it and crank the engine to see.
  • Timing - triple check the marks. on the 5sfe, there are a couple of different marks, make sure you are using the correct timing marks. I used the wrong marks on the head one time and the engine didn't start.
  • Compression - compression check.

also I already tried running it and it did what oil is in there is like black tar now
What are the other marks besides what in the alldata manual, balancer at TDC and cam shaft at that top mark around the 12 not the 10
about to pull the injectors now and see if they are clogged that thought just occurred last night
