hi, i have around 70k~ miles on my '97 camry le 4cylinder car. it's a handmedown from my parents, and at the moment, i'm getting on average maybe 20 mpg? or somewhere around 16-20 mpg. i was wondering if ground wiring would help engine response, etc. also, what kind of tune up should i get? i dont think we got the 60k tuneup cause there really wasnt anything wrong with it, my parents drove it pretty lightly. well, when i drive, i hit around 4k~, which is probably bad, and sometimes the accelerator gets stuck, like literally doesnt move unless i apply a lot more force than usual, then it jerks and accelerates. anyone know how to fix this problem? also, for cleaning the engine, what should i use? or do? i'm a real amateur when it comes to cars so all help would be welcome. i've read through like about 10 pages of this forum, and i'm still confused and lost. any good tutorials on groundwiring, cleaning, tuning, etc? which parts to get/replace (ie sparkplugs, lights (and how to adjust them, they're kind of crooked, as in the left one beams lower than the right, say 10 feet instead of 20 feet, etc.)? also any books recommend me reading? besides the manual.

oh and what does overdrive do? o_O

thanks thanks
