Hey, I'm new to the site and a Honda guy but my neighbor has a question that im trying to help him figure out. He has a '97 corolla and we are trying to figure out which axel is the drive axel (the one that puts the power to the ground :hammer:).

We assumed that it would be the shorter axel which is on the driver side because of the less amount of stress it would recieve, however both front tires were replaced as the same time and we measured the tread depth with a tread guage and the passanger side is worn more.

Just wondering if anyone can help out, he is a little reluctant to jack it up and put her and drive or to do a burn out haha.

Thanks!
