My wife’s 98 Camry is still truckin’ along, but, being an 18 year old car, problems happen. This time it’s a leaky sunroof.
I can’t honestly find the front drains in the drip area, but I would assume they’re open because when I pour water into the drip area, it freely pours out from under the body behind the front wheel…right and left sides. Also, there does not seem to be a problem if it’s parked in the rain. The water inside only appears if she’s driving in the rain. My immediate suspicion in the rear drains. And here’s my problem. I don’t know where they are…inlet or outlet.
Are the rear drains visible from the sunroof area near the B pillars or further back near the C pillars? Where do they drain out? In front of the rear wheel? Are they easier to access from the inside?
There is a surprising lack of picture or videos of this (that I can find, anyway) so ANY input you can offer would be helpful. I’m not opposed to doing some disassembly to fix this, I just don’t want to be wasting my time in the wrong area.
Thanks in advance…you all have helped a lot in the past!
