98 XLE factory HU

I'm interested in connecting to some sort of Aux input or Line In on my 1998 Camry XLE headunit so I can plug it in to the headphone jack on my iPod. I don't need to be able to control the iPod with my stereo or anything fancy. I'm just looking for some better sound quality than an FM transmitter or the tape deck option.

I have a factory head unit with a cassette deck and single cd player. What's the easiest way to do this? Can I just pull the stereo out and buy a cable to plug in? Is there an input back there? Where would I run the cable from the back of the stereo, drill a hole into the glove box?

I tried to do some searching on here but it seems most people have aftermarket decks or are looking to do something more complex. If this is on here somewhere and I just couldn't find it, please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

I think the cheapest/easiest way to go is to buy a $50 headunit that has aux in...it's so easy to install, takes no more than 20 minutes.

But maybe there is a way to just get a cable from behind the box but I don't think so.
