Now what are you trying to swap in? 4A from a gen 1, 5S or 3S from a gen 2, or 1ZZ from a MR-S?

Your car already have a 1ZZ so the third option is out. The other engines are older than your car, depending on how anal your state authorities are, you may not be able to legally get it back on the road after the swap.

There is one known case of a 3S-GTE swap into these Corolla. It's the most worthwhile options among all options, but is a lot of work. The other options, just isn't worth the trouble.

The holy grail (pardon me here) would be a 2ZZ-GE swap but I don't think any MR2s came with it.

I started an excel sheet but got nowhere with it. I was thinking of swapping my 95 Geo Prizm though :) A 3S-GTE turbo swap in a Corolla would be sick. But you could also rebuild the 1ZZ and supercharge it. A 2ZZ-GE would be a decent swap too.

yeah it would be hella sick. i mean everyone i know puts my corolla down even though i smoke the majority of the people that i have raced witch were my friends. (02 vw jetta, 07 sizuki reno, ? chevy beretta, 07 ford mustang, 89,91,07 honda civics, 06 mitsubishi legend, 06 chevy s10 turbo 4 door, and there were a quite a few light to light races with some people remember what cars they had.) any ways i wanted to make my car just a LITTLE bit faster.lol and do an engine swap because the 99 corolla engine is hella hard to find aftermarket/performance parts for. and i wanted to do something that no one would think about seeing in a corolla so here i am.

oh and if anyone knows of any good websites to buy good aftermarket/performance parts for the corolla please tell me!!!!!

thanks for your help.....

Street racing is stupid. You must be young and naive about all the accidents and deaths people have experienced. Watch "Red Asphalt". And for crying out loud, it's only a Corolla.

Ah, ok, makes sense now. THAT'S why you don't think street racing is stupid. The typical street racer has an IQ below 100, no regard for the safety of others, and lives in a F&F fantasy world. Once you get in the real world, and you're not so full of testosterone and baby batter, you'll realize how stupid it really is. No car, not even a Corolla, can have it's limits realized on a public road with out endangering your self or others. And your sheer inexperience due to your age makes the idea of street racing an even worse idea. I'm not insulting you, I'm telling it like it is.

But if you're doing a swap strictly for the performance which you will utilize on the track, then go for it. The 3S-GTE turbo swap is what you want to do, but you'll probably want to have your clutch upgraded as well.
