can u remove the oil pan w/o raising eng? is there room to unbolt it , turn it 90degrees and lower it w/o removing anything????????????:confused:

yes, you can do it without picking up the engine.

-drain oil
-remove bolts + 2 nuts
-cut seal (not a lot of space for this, be careful with sharp box cutter)

pan drops in the front first then pulls forward out of the engine bay

How do you manage to get the two bolts off that are towards the rear of the pan sitting up under the lip of the transmission housing? I have a '99 2.7 liter.

I had no trouble using extensions, universal joints and a six-point socket, but I have a 2WD and it's a manual trans.
