Hi guys..fairly new to the site... long time yota owner tho...heres my situation, I wonder if anyone can help.
My 99 Tacoma 4x4 started stumbling upon acceleration this week. I changed the plugs, checked out the wires, looked for vac leaks everywhere etc..no luck. I pulled the check engine code and it comes up with "egr excessive flow" I checked the modulator and the valve itself, both seem to be working fine. any ideas? oh yeah..the truck has 207k on the 3rz-fe...thanks for any help!!

Check the MAF?

The maf sensor on the 2.7L is notorious for takin a dump. Can do a resitance test with specs from factory manual. Check that there isn't any fuzz or derbis on the heat wire that runs down the center. It removes with a few phillips head screws from the maf housing.
