is it possible to convert the belt-driven A/C pump to a supercharger?

no but you can remve you ac compressor and replace it with a super charger from a 4agze or a vw or a mercedes
The pipe on the AC compressor is so small it won't have enough air flow anyway. Then you don't really want to compress your air to liquid  That what the AC compressor do. That's 300PSI+, don't think your intake or block will take it for more then a second.

ehh... i dont think he meant turn your a/c compressor into a s/c... i think he meant replace it.

You would earn 100 bonus points if you rigged your AC button to turn the supercharger on and off - kinda like in 'Mad Max'

^ that's what i was talking about the 4agze sc is clutch driven and so is the mercedese only thing is you can't have it on all the time other wise you'll burn it you could make it so it only turn on at a certain rpm range.
i meant convert it into a supercharger, not replace it. but i didn't know i could replace it with a supercharger from a 4agze or vw or mercedes. is it easy or must i fabricate?

must i fabricate?
ahh the question of many centuries for camry owners...
this is one from a gze motor notice the clutch and the two mounting tabs on top onthe bottom are the same also

here is one from a mercedes the under side (i'm not sure where the intake in/out puts are but this would work also but you would need to put it on a switch so it won't be on all the time ie it's only on at low rpms (2-4k) then you'd have it on when you'd need it

so how much is that going to run me?
Ok, the SC need a bypass to allow air through if its not turning, as long as its "Eaton Screw" type. The Eaton Screw make a seal itself and won't let air pass. A turbo will let air pass when its not spinning.
So if you turn off a Eaton SC, you'll got no air to the engine
Some SC use a turbo like turbine, that can be turn off with a clutch.
Check the SC system and find out what is needed first. It can be done but it may require more work then you think.
I think the clutch is there to turn off the SC at high RPM. SC can't spin too fast to prevent supersonic air flow which will damage everything before it get to supersonic.

Oh I think the AC mount is too close to the exhaust to put a SC there.
if he gets the whole set up from the 4agze or from the mercedese he could do it then fabricate new headers for better flow. those sc's that i posted are not meant to run constantly so they will preform when needed read up on the 4agze system and the mercedese kompressor
