The total with installation was around 2K. I probably could've gotten a little cheaper if I had shopped around, but I didn't feel like it. That included the remote keyless entry (works with your truck remote), carpeted interior, sliding-fold down front glass, clothes rod, etc. It's pretty sweet.

Yeah Chris, I like your setup! Is that a home-built rack? I see you do some playboating and creeking like myself. I thought about getting the extended cab so I'd have a longer bed (didn't want the d-cab longbed) and finally opted for the D-cab. I dig that indigo as well. Now I got to get me some tube steps.

Hey.....the creeker is new(used) JK Rocker....not had it on anything with some bite yet :sosad:. The boat on the far end is a Angst squirt that a friend from Kville grew out of. And I love my Flip-Stick. I actually havent been on anything since middle of Sept(Gauley Fest).

The rack is made out of aluminum and is great, a guy in WV does it on the side. I sort of wished I went for the DC short bed just for the room for people and I love my tent, but I did sleep in the back a couple of weeks ago and it was great. And I wanted white too...but black was what was on the lot. The sun did make my truck look funky indigo. I just need to seal up the camper better, with the rack it leaks a bit around the bed rails.....if it ever warms up where I live..ugh.

Congrats on the shell. Not my cup, but it looks good. How does the keyless work with your remote? I've got keyless for my tonneau, but it's on its own key.

That looks good real good!
I was gonna get a camper shell a Snugtop SuperSport but found a Snugtop hard cover for $350.00 was only 8 months old bought it from some old guy with a taco he had leased. I decided to save myself $1600 and put it towards the lift, etc...
Also the camper shell looked kinda funny and "grandpa" like on a longbed.

Not real sure. They set it up when they put the top on. I suppose there's a way to make it "learn". I guess I need to find out in case it stops working or something.

Hell yeah man, I was at Gauleyfest myself. That was my 5th in a row! I love the Gauley and the festival. Now that I look at your truck better I can see it's black, it does look Indigo a bit with the sun, sorry. They're both good looking colors. Do you happen to post on boatertalk?

That was my 4th G-Fest. I keep saying its my last one, but this year the weather was so nice compared to the one before. Typical boaters cluster [email protected]#k and we didnt put on the Lower til 2:30( I dont run the upper). But plenty of Sweetwater beer so it was all good. :chug:

So, the truck remote unlocks everything, basically? Not bad, though that'd be a no-go for me. When my tonneau unlocks, it opens up, which I don't want to happen every time I open my doors. Convenient if you have a topper, though. Just remember to lock it after before you get in the ride.

Took my Yakima racks off of the cab last night and put my Thule kit on the camper shell. I like the Thule stuff better, plus I already had the feet and stuff to fit the track. Picked up some 65" bars yesterday so I can fit more boats & bikes.....

Chris, my handle on bt is cravin' waves.

Yeah, it was a great deal, it is the SnugLid TC. The old guy didn't even hesitate to take $350 for it, I said to myself I should of offered $300.
If I want the camper shell later I probably could sell the lid for more or the same price I paid for it!

Looks nice. I have a Z cap on my DC-SB. I had an Undercover before but the bed height on the Tacoma was too short for a dbl rifle case. Although probably not as "sporty" as a bed cover, I like being able to haul more stuff under lock and key. Enjoy your truck and all the "stuff".
