Got my 2005 Tacoma access cab Prerunner TRD off road last year the day after Thanksgiving. Now at 12,000 miles, she's been no touble at all. Let's see 2 minor door dings, a cracked windshield and a crunched mudflap are my mishaps so far. Had to get an AC drain line problem fixed at the dealer this summer. I previously had a Chevy llongwheelbase 85 pickup w/305 V8. The transition from the Chevy to the Tacoma was a good one. I really like the truck and it's the 1st new vehicle I've ever purchased. No regrets.I'm getting about 20mpg combined and thats alot better than what I was used to.

Glad to hear all is well with the truck! I also feel the same way. I 've owned a toyota since 88 and have always felt the same as you.:thumbup:
I am glad as well. I have had my truck for half a year now and there are no problems whatsoever.
My old Jeep had A/C problems and some loose seals and warping brakes like CRAZY. I had to replace all my brakes every 3 months.

That's funny I bought mine the day before Thanksgivng last year. It's been peaceful bliss ever since. Other than oil changes, and going in for the squeaky leaf spring pad fix last week i've drove it and put gas in it. Oh and spent money on it, wheels, stereo system, bed mat, and some floor mats. Best move I've ever made into another vehicle! Good riddens to the GMC Jimmy I had, what a POS compared to the Tacoma.
