What's the part numbers for the CV axle seals and the input shaft/front pump seal? I need those. We pulled the old trans out, (I will detail the process when done) but yeah, axle seals on the used trans aren't great and neither is the seal for the input shaft.

Thanks!

Nice site! I can't seem to find what exact seals fit the axles/half shafts, but I'll play around with it and try to find it.

Are thinking input shaft is main seal?
So, inside the bell housing, right after the splined shaft is a rubber seal. It looks OK, but I figure while I'm there I can try pulling it. That seal.

No, it's not the rear main seal. It's not on the engine, it's on the trans. The rear main seal is on the crank. I have that and replaced it.

Can't find the current half shaft P/N but I'll keep looking. Tyvm

I think these are what you are seeking. You need to verify.

It's weird. Toyota puts the seals on different parts pages. Try this also.

The seals will be different for different transmissions and it may be different left and right. And you have to drive them in to the correct depth. Each transmission is different. It's not always flush or all the way in.

Then that's not right either.

I guess I'm going to say screw it and just go with what I currently have. The transmission only cost me $200 so if it leaks a little bit it's not the end of the world.

I can't find an input shaft seal either cuz it's not the rear main seal. Stupid confusing Toyota part lists.

That looks like it attaches to the wheel bearing. I'm over at this point I guess I'm just not going to change the seals and hope that if they are bad I can just deal with it at a later date.

Yeah, that's what I said in post #13, and in post #14, you said my response wasn't right. At least that's how I interpreted it. I still think what I provided in post #7 is correct. RockAuto has each of those seals available from an aftermarket provider. I suspect Toyota still has those part numbers as well. If you get them at a Toyota dealer parts counter, and when you remove your old ones, you will see if they match up properly or not - if they don't, you can return them to the Toyota parts counter for a refund.
