Hello

I have a Toyota Corolla Verso R1, from 2008. It is a 7 seat car, gasoline engine. The brakes are in otherwise fine condition, I have never had any indication that they are failing or not working properly.

But when the car is almost stopped, the ABS activates (in any weather condition). The local repair shop isn't very interested in taking in the car - I have a feeling they are overworked and not familiar this problem. There are no warning lights on the dashboard.

Is it good enough to drive without fixing it? What is an estimate of how large an operation it would be to repair?

regards

Do the easiest things first.
Put the car on jackstand.
Remove all four wheels.
Remove one wheel sensor.
Clean the sensor tips of iron filings.
Clean the sensor mounting hole surface from rust build up.
Go to the next wheel and do the same for all the remaining wheels.
Test drive.
