Hi All! I have a 2001 Toyota Camry LE with a 3.0 V6. I recently replaced the rear brake pads and rotors. In the process, I broke the ABS sensor on the passenger side. After the job was complete I took the car for a short ride (less than 1/8th of a mile) and as I expected, the ABS dash light was on when I started the car.

I have since replaced the sensor and the light won't go away. I have checked for codes stored in the computer and there aren't any. I have unhooked the battery for 24. hours and after reconnecting it, the light is still on.

What are some of the other things I can try to get rid of the ABS light?

Put a jumper into the OBD2 port pins 4-13. Turn the key on press the brake pedal 8 times quickly. Should clear the code if not you still have an electrical problem. Google obd2 port pinout
