2002 Echo, automatic, 190k miles, no troubles with it.

My AC and Heat have always blown out the vents, regardless of the direction that I want them to come from. The dial that should send them through the vents, the dash, and at your feet doesn't really do that much to send the air anywhere except through the vents.

Always been like this. Any thoughts? Anyone else's been like this too?

Not too much of a big deal. Just makes me scratch my head.

There could be a cable disconnected on the selector lever or on the air-box.
