if the ac is used when wanting cold air whats the econ do? or when is it suppose to be use or used for?

It's supposed to be a more economical setting for your Air Conditioning. Apparently it's supposed to save gas, but to tell the truth, I never could tell a difference in my Camry that had it. Toyota eliminated it in later models.

Guys, if i turn on the A/C and there is no "click" sound from the bonnet is that mean there is no gas??? or something is wrong???

The econ button slows the compressor speed so theoretically you save a tiny bit of fuel.

i always thought the econ button used fresh air from the vent and chilled it, and the a/c button was recirculated inside air.... hmmm
