be sure to get a recharge kit that has a gauge. overfilling your AC system=no fun. it will cost a lil more but usually the gauge systems are reusable

banana: is your AC blowing cold? if so your fine if not go to any parts store (don't buy stealership refrigerent R134a is R134a no matter whos name is on it) and ask someone working there for a AC recharge kit (make sure to get one with a gauge as i said previously) hook it up to the Low pressure port (labled in pic above)
follow the directions on the can.
