Hey guys, trying to get AC in my truck, ran into a little issue.

I obtained an air box with all the needed parts, but my harness in my vehicle doesn't line up with the harness for the amplifier.

Would re-positioning the pins on either/or work for the colors? All the colors match up if you take it one by one, except the Amplifier Harness has dual Black/Red/Black wires and no solid Blue.

I can cut the Amplifier harness and the pins will line up if the side of it is off so I'm wondering if they have to be the same colors before it is plugged in.

You'd have to compare the wiring diagram for your truck to that of whatever year your parts came from.

It's from an '89 22RE.

But I've ordered a whole complete set now, still waiting on it to come in. But hopefully I can use what I have with most of it and get it running.

I'd get wiring diagrams from both years and compare the pinouts.

Sometimes the pigtails to components don't have matching wire colors.

But you need to verify this or risk letting the smoke out of something.
