Hi,

I would like to add a circuit to my Toyota Corolla 2009 LE to be able to power a GPS tracker and a door lock/unlock system. Both devices use less than 2A when they are in use.
I got those TAP adapter that you install on the fuse box, but I was confused on which circuit I should connect it to. I need an "Always ON" circuit and an "Ignition" Circuit, both will be protected with their own fuse.

Any suggestions?

Thank you.

I added an always on circuit today! I don't have a moon roof, but my fuse box has a 20 amp fuse in it's slot (#8 SUNROOF, description: Moon Roof). I took the 20A out, put the Add A Circuit in with a 10A fuse (limitation of Littlefuse brand) in the appropriate slot. When I tested it, it was Constant

If I had a Moon Roof, I would have tried a different slot holding a fuse for something I didn't have and then test for Constant or Switched.

The CIG fuse should be switched.
I hope this helped.
