I am in the process of looking at a new Tacoma and was wondering a few things that ya'll might be able to tell me. I am looking at a 08 Tacoma, extra cab, TRD Off Road, 4x4, 4.0L, silver with automatic trans for a price of $24,900 plus taxes. First, I was wondering if they fixed the tail gate problem, if the automatic with cruise on still surges and if this is a fair price? Second, is there any advice needed pertaining to anything else on Tacoma's? I am coming out of a 04 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel which gets 22 mpg and I will miss that but, my eyes aren't what they used to be so I need something smaller.
