as the title states i wanna swap my current fuel tank with the one in ae101 due to larger fuel lines, and i wanted to ask if its easy swap, i have found people saying its possible and impossible

I've looked into this myself and it wouldn't be possible, both tanks are entirely different sizes & layouts, especially since the ae101 has the exhaust routing through the middle-back instead of going over the passenger rear control arm, plus the ring seals are different & the filler neck size is smaller too

Yeah, one of the users here from the UK tried to do it, and ended going with a Jetta tank, as it fit better.

It won't be cheap or easy, but you'll need to change out the line from the fuel pump (inside the tank at the rear sending unit), and replace all of the under car fuel lines. Keep in mind they are usually bundled together with the 2 rear brake lines (5 in total), so it might be a good idea to think about replacing them as well. I only mention this, as I had to replace the brake lines on my Geo Prizm (a Corolla clone), and did the fuel lines while I was in there. I also had to do that on my wife's 2000 Honda Accord, due to rust (Honda clusters them together too, but closer to the rocker panel). I bought rolls of tubing to make life easier, and bent them where they were needed to be bent. I used the old lines as a rough template for bending.
