AFE 2 AGE, everyone is telling me other stuff

Hello everyone from The Netherlands,

And I've some problems with my swap I'm going to do next week.
I own a Toyota Celica ST , 1.6 4A-FE.
Because I needed to take the engine out anyway I am going to swap to a 4A-GE 16v engine, from a corolla E8.

And this should be plug and play, like everybody here said.
But a lot of people telling me other crap So..

I already have the engine but there is more then just the engine.
I also have the engine wire, and the interior wiring, because some people here told me I need to swap the interior wiring also, and a lot of people never ever said anything about the interior wiring.

But then I read there are some gearbox incompatible problems, that was new.. because i knew it will work directly with my AFE gearbox.

But because I want to use my 4A-FE gearbox on the 4A-GE, first people said there is no need to change the gearbox to the one from the 4A-GE.
And I can use my 4A-FE without any problems, sounds cool.

But then, someone said that there are some starter problems.
Because the starter from the 4A-GE are on the gearbox, and the starter from the 4A-FE on the engine side?
Sounds strange, but that is what he told me, so I DO need to change my gearbox? and other people are telling me not to.

So, a question to people here that know what they are talking about.
I wonder, what are the gearbox issues?

And do I really need to replace the interior wiring?

Because i hear like 10 people telling differed stuff and it drives me crazy
Maybe someone here can tell me exactly what I DO need to swap, and what i Do not, or don't have to.

Soms Specs:

Celica ST '92, with a 4A-FE engine

Want to swap, because it would be most easy to do!

Corolla E8, 4A-GE Bluetop Engine.

Thanks a lot!

Gearbox, I don't know. Wiring, I do. You'll need complete ECU and wiring harness. You'll need wiring diagram from both engine/car to rewire interior. It is not a plug and play.
For more info check Corolla forum here and Club4AG. They do a lot more 4A swap. Celica are usually 3S-GTE swap.
