Hello,
I have a 2009 highlander sport with a recently installed aftermarket receiver. The installer connected the existing oem camera(blurry). I would like to switch out the oem camera. Can I splice the connections or are there issue with that? What are some ideas to avoid hard wiring?

I believe that the oem is a 6 volt and aftermarkets are generally 12 volt.

Dyi'er, were you able to replace the rear camera? If you did, could you share some pictures, wiring diagram?
