Hey. I bought a Tercel that was gutted, that I am turning into a street racer.

I want to take out the instrument panel so I can mount my guages there, but in order to do that, I have to get an aftermarket speedometer and fuel gauge to replace the ones that are stock.

How would I go about doing this? Would I have to make a special cable? Do I have to run a seperate fuel sensor? I already have a tach and other guages hooked up going up the door side on the driverside, but I would rather them be behind the steering wheel.

Suggestions?

i think the fuel gauge hooks up to the stock wire from the stock cluster and the speedometer... i have no clue how u would hook up a cable to it since most speedo gauges are electrical.....
