well its crunch time again and the bills are winning I have 2 Toys here both 1984 one is 2wd the other is 4wd, and before you blast me for photos I will get some up as soon as I get the 2wd out of the paint booth.
1st up is a 1984 4Runner 4x4 still sporting the factory brown paint and very few dings in it,all OE paint and metal and No Rust over all it is not to bad.
Upgraded seats out of a 94 4Runner with lumbar support,SR5 dash cluster with tach ect and aftermarket oil and water gages under the dash and the altimeter, Pioneer AM FM CD with MP3 plug in and remote all wrapped up in limo tint.
The engine is a 22R sporting .40 over Keith black pistons a new head from Enginbuilder with over size stainless valves a 268/425 cam with a Webber 32/36 carb 2 1/4 inch exhaust with flow master muff and a high flow cat.
The Tranny and transfer case are the W56 out of a 1994 reg cab with bench = both sticks forward.
It did not come with AC but I have it installed now and it blows at 38 deg.
Stage 1 clutch set up with 4:10 Gears on 31x10.50.15 tires on very nice custom wheels (Need Photo)
Not Lifted for the most part Unmolested till I got it
I was thinking about asking 5,500.00 for it due to all the new stuff and there is less than 1,000 miles on the engine and 500 miles on the clutch tranny and tcase not to mention all the mods and time spent on it and the fact that it is a solid axle rig, you can find them for less then spend a ton of cash and time to make it what this already is and beyond.
2nd up is a 1984 2wd SR5 Extra Cab 22RE 5 speed, and please correct me if I am wrong but I Think this is a Rare find with the Factory EFI in a 84 it was 1,184 off the assembly line with a build tag in the door jamb of Oct 1983 so my Guess it is a Special Order Truck. With the W52 tranny in it that research shows to be delivered to Australia only.(how it got to Phoenix is a mystery)
The 22RE in it appears to have been rebuilt in the recent past and all tests seam to agree no oil leaks and very very clean and it runs like a raped ape and will smoke the tires with out much effort.
I Just put on a set of cooper cobra 225/60/14 on the back and 215/6014 on the front with steel mod wheels with the chrome outside and black centers.
New Paint job in Midnight Blue Pearl metallic.
Put in a nice JVC AM FM CD Ice Cold AC ect and I still need to and will tint the windows and replace the muffler.
I was thinking that 3,500 would be a fair asking price on this one.
Like I said I am asking for opinions on what they may be worth and with this economy its a crap shoot.
