I bought a second hand 2005 Camry V6 from a friend. He sold it cis the ac is not chilling after 2 weeks of filling gas.

I thought I can solve the problem but it's persist.

Pls what can I do, it chills when gas is refilled and stops chilling after 2 weeks.

Pls help

Someone needs to put in UV dye AND replace BOTH High and Low service valves at the next recharge.

And if it's a reputable place, their machine should start with a vacuum and hold first, to ensure there are no leaks before adding the proper weight (yes weight) of refrigerant.

do not use those kits. if you put to much freon in it it will blow the seals, to little will not cool properly. the camry holds 1.2 pounds. a pound of freon is 17 ounces. take it to a actual shop that has the ac recovery machine. the pressures dont mean anything about the weight of the charge as pressures will always be different in different outside tempatures, take it to a actual shop that can recover, vacuum and do a proper recharge
