- and my coolant needed to be flushed
well i went down to my buddies store whome gives me price at cost and it cost me $33(cad) for an purolator (i thought they delivered packages)air filter(was listed at $48). now is it just me or is this one of the most expensive air filters ive seen? or did something go wrong?

Whhoooaaa!! It is not just you!! I would say around $15, maybe worst a few dollars more than that...if not on sale. I can usually find them at our little discount auto place for around $9 reduced from $15 (though can't swear it's that brand).

Did you use it? Or can you still return it.

Hell, I think you could buy one from the dealer for less than that.

Is it some sort of performance air filter? Because they are a lot more money because you can just wash then out and use a "Filter Recharger kit" on them to make them new again.

That's why it's good to get a K&N filter that will outlast your car and if it doesn't I do believe they have a lifetime warranty. Saves you money in the long run, plus more power and better gas mileage.

all fixed and got some store credit...it would of been nice if someone told me the plugwires and cap were all one piece instead of me trying (unsuccessfully) to pry them off
