I have a 81 4X4 with a 22R. It has been burning a lot of oil. about a quart every 100 miles, but threr is no smoke.... It only has 374K miles on it, and other than the alternator and waterpump, its all original, even the rear brake pads are original. The beast just keeps on going. But enough gloating.

I have a proplem. The small air filter on the side of the main air filter housing was completely plugged. Ive heard it called the EGR and the crank case breather filter. There is no mention of in in my Haynes book. Its about 2 inches by 5 inches.

I have not been able to come up with a replacement from NAPA of shucks. I live in Alaska so parts shops are a bit limited.

Does anyone have a part number for this, or a source?

Thanks

Duncan
