Hi,

Anyone know a place online I can buy an air intake hose ( the flexible one that is after the MAF sensor to the throtle body? (1990 Camry V6 LE)

Mine is cracked, and no place seems to have it online or localy (NAPA, Autozone etc). Anyone knows part #? I find it dufficult to believe they do not have such a "common" (to me) item.

Thanks

duct tape is a PERMANENT fix :)

agreed leave that stuff on long enough under the hood with all taht heat and it will be better than original. I think you can get duct tape in black now also so it will match.

I tried tape on mine but it didnt work. The vacuum or just collapsed the tube from the inside nad made a nice hole thru the tape. I did this at least 3 times. I am sure it was a combination of the high heat in the engine bay and the vacuum. Plus I used that black electrical tape because duct tape was useless at the bend where it was split. I had to pay $35 for a replacement hose because its soo hard to find (they break often). At autozon I peeped a flexible replacement air hose for about $5. Its just like the air duct hose that goes on the back of your dryer but tuffer and in black. If I had the chance I would try this first before going for the direct replacement. The only thing is you wount be able to use that dust trap thingy in the middle air hose.
