I think that you watch too much Initial d if you really believe what you've just posted.

I suggest reading the sticky in the corolla section here, or since you did mention the ae86, go to club4ag.

huh.. I want some of what he's smoking... I bet it was grown in BC. :D

Actually, what you're looking for is the Toyota chassis code.. all SR5 or GTS or GTZ were know as, depending on the year as AE86 (85-87), AE92 (88-91), AE101 (92-94) and AE111 (96-98) your car is in a totally different class though.. I believe your car is known as a ZZE110 not sure if its because it was north-american made and not japanese-made, and the VE, GTS or SR5 part has nothing to do with the code designations.

Also the AE cars had 2 versions Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno, I believe the Corolla Levin had 2 and 4 dr versions. The north american Corolla GTS was known as the GT Apex in Japan, and the SR5 as SR5. The weird part is that not all cars are sold under the same name in all countries, for example. The 2003-05 Corollas are sold in some countries as the Toyota Altis, so chances are your Corolla had a totally different name in lets say.. Malaysia or Japan.

God.. don't people ever read the Corolla master sticky?? :disappoin :)
