Alignment Questions w/lift

Hey everyone,
I have heard that in order to maintain proper alignment on a lifted truck you need to replace the Upper Control Arms. I am just wondering if there is truth to this or if you only have to replace the UCA's with certain lifts?

No.

Back in the 90's some kits replaced the UCA's but now most generic IFS bracket lifts are made to work with stock uca and lca's

The only kind of lift that I can think of that you would need to replace them is on a long travel kit.
