Toyota of Dallas is a dealership full of snakes. That's where I went first to get pricing on a Camry LE. After about three hours, all the sales manager could do was tell me how I should really spend an extra $10K to buy a loaded-out XLE (I was going for "cheap commuter vehicle"... if I wanted to spend $32K, I'd spend a few more and buy a G35.) I then had to order him to quit calling me after I'd received three calls from him and two from the salesperson in two days, asking what they could do to "get me in that Camry".

My irritation was driven even higher when I received a brochure from them trying to get me back into the dealership, and telling me what a wonderful machine the Tundra CrewMax was. I ended up writing a 5-page letter to the General Manager, with a carbon copy to Toyota Corporate. Toyota called me wanting to ask questions... the GM never responded.

I'd strongly recommend finding another dealership to work with, even for parts.

If you want the mats and they will sell them, buy them.

Toyota Canada has all-weather mats that is difference than Toyota USA's, softer and bigger in the driver side too. I am using the one which is the recall one (from US). They are heavy duty one, and they are more easy to clean. Just make sure you take the original floor mat out before you use these all-weather mats. I found the two holds on the all-weather mats is too far back (driver side), so it is impossible to attach to the hock on the floor. I left it loose, and it works fine.

If hooking the drivers mat is too tough for you, don't do anything else on the car yourself.

The originals were recalled because dummies didn't fasten them when they replaced their originals or just dropped them on top of their carpet mats.

I bought the original all weather mats from the dealer and had the recall done on them. I wish I would of kept the originals. The difference is the replacement mat is like an inch shorter around the gas pedal. You have to be a real idiot to get the mat to go on top of your gas pedal, which is why they changed them. They are prety cheap but I wish I would of gotten the Weather tech floor liners instead. They are more money but I love the rear seat over the hump feature. So if you can get the older mats go for it, its the same damn clip to only difference is its shorter around the gas pedal so u can get in there.

Yes sir those are the ones I have like I said I like them but the weather tech over the hump is ingenious. I dont have kids yet but wife is 7 months preagnet in a few years I might look into buying just the rear weathertechs.

alright cool cool, thanks guys

yea the weathertech looks interesting, i can imagine it definitely be worth it in the back if its being used often, but for me the back seat r usually untouched, if it is its mostly my art portfolios/supplies and junk

so the answer to my question about the recalls are that they r out? or are they still working on them? i mean El Loco said [I bought the original all weather mats from the dealer and had the recall done on them] maybe its just late for me n im just dead tired to actually get this through my head  maybe its time for me to sleep since i gotta wake up early tomorrow for class

thanks a lot guys!

but yeah, whats going on? :D thanks

This is the one shown on the Toyota USA webside as well. Take a look here
http://www.toyota.com/camry/accessories.html

Are these one being recalled? If yes, they should not show it on the website.
Wow, go after all the companies and people that use stock photos in their advertising.

The difference between the original and the revised as was posted before is small (~ 1" under the pedals).

So chill out and ty again to fasten the hooks on yours. It's very simple. Maybe someone can do a DIY on it with photos.

I ordered one 3 weeks ago from ebay look exactly the same from the Toyota webside. And it was shipped from one of the Toyota dealer in East coast (I forget the name of that dealer).

Part Number:</B> PT908-03071-02

The hole on the mats are too far back. It was almost impossible to hook to the holes on the floor. I just leave it on the floor without the original mats. I do not find any trouble on the gas/blake paddle.

Wait, were you trying to have them on top of your existing carpet mat?

No, I only use the all-weather mats. But the hole on the mats do not align the hole on the floor. I think it is about at least 2" apart. So I just leave it on the floor without the locking it up. I found it does not move anyway, so I am fine.

You have to remove your paper thin carpet floor mats before you install the rubber ones. The new updated mats have writing on them, I think they say don't place over your other mats and make sure to clip em. So if you get the old ones they will have no writing on them. The dealer will replace it for free if you want them that bad, like I said I like the original ones better becauce they cover more. Some dumb ass aparently put them over his cloth mats so there is no way to clip it down and got it stuck over his gas pedal and probally sued for a million gazillion dollars for being a retard.
