The winch and fog's come in on Monday, so I'll update the pics once those get installed. Installation was a breeze, and it fits perfect. This bumper is the $*&%!

Here's a photo of the interior someone asked for

Torn down and ready for install

Here is it, sorry the pics are dark, the weather sucks here right now.

Did you order the unpainted version and have it powder coated or did you order it painted? That's the bumper I want and as soon as they're available powdercoated I'm placing my order. It looks great! How's the weight? What winch are you gonna run?

Yeah I was in the pre-order group, they only came unpainted. Not sure when they are gunna start selling them powdercoated. I would have bought them bare metal and had them powdercoated myself anyway. I got a buddy who hooked it up for me. Plus from Allpro's pictures they look like they use the smooth shiny black powdercoat, which I don't like. I had mine done in the textured black powdercoat, like my sliders....looks much much better

Yeah, that textured powdercoat job looks great. I originally didn't want to deal with trying to get one powdercoated myself, but you got me thinking now. :D I wonder what it would cost to get one done like that. Anyone have a ballpark?

I would guess around 100 to 150.
That would be worth it since I think AP is gonna charge 100 more the powdercoated version. Thanks.

And again, it looks awesome!

Awesome. That looks really good. I like the way it angles down at the frame mount and all the mounting is hidden, clean and pretty.

Any install hang-ups? does this bumper sit on top of the radioator support (under the grill), or under it?

No install hang-ups at all. 3 of us here at the shop had it installed (including assembling the bumper itself) in about half an hour or so. Granted we have pnuematic tools, and I had two body techs helping me, but it was still a breeze.

I removed the center black piece you can see in my disassembled picture (the one right below the tranny cooler), as it is only their to support the bumper. Is that the piece you are talking about?

that is a good lookin bumper. also, if its adjustable at all, i would recommend that you leave a little space between the fender and the bumper incase u hit something, it wont push everything up.

It's not going anywhere. If the bumper flexes up enough to hurt my fenders, then my fenders are gunna be the least of my worries, cause my frame rail ends will be tatered.

The metal frame between the bottom of the headlights when the grill is removed. This piece holds the location hole for the stem on the grill (bottom center) when it's replaced.

I ask b/c it was really not clear in my install (over or under), then wifey suggested we try to fit it underneath, then bam, everything went into place. The other 2 bumpers I had did not mount this way.

Gotcha, the little tab that comes off the hood latch support. The bumper actually doesn't get that close to it, so it's just in front. I thought you were talking about the black piece that is horizontal below the headlamps. Thats the piece I removed. You only need the sections on the left and right the hold the headlamps, not the center section that bolts on.

edit: I think you are talking about the piece I removed. I'll go take a picture, hold on.

Those frame horns will bend, though. The bumper needs a little room to flex. When steel doesn't flex, it usually breaks.

What does AP say about the gaps?
I took the aluminum frame horns off, and I'm sure you did too to install your bumper. Mine mounted directly to the rail ends. And they aren't gunna move enough to hurt my fenders. Allpro actually had a slight gap there on their prototype bumper, but purposely snugged it up for the production bumper (this is according the AP on the TTORA thread).
