"The subject vehicles are equipped with a fuel pump which may stop operating. If this were to occur, warning lights and messages may be displayed on the instrument panel, and the engine may run rough. This can result in a vehicle stall, and the vehicle may be unable to be restarted. If a vehicle stall occurs while driving at higher speeds, this could increase the risk of a crash."

Thanks for the info. I did check my Vin at the above web site and also at the NHTSA and my car is NOT in the recall. Hope the web sites are up to date. This could be a disaster if driving at high speed!!!!

If fuel pump goes out, certainly a pita, but shouldn't be a disaster. Roll to a stop. Anyone ever have to deal with a blowout in traffic? Now that's a potential accident sicye you've lost partial control of the car.

I am wondering if the recall is only effecting V6 models?
Anyone with the i-4 on the list?
