Think I am having Alternator issues on '94 Camry V6, with headlights on and when the brake is applied the headlights noticeably dim for about 1 second then return to normal, is this normal or alternator or battery issues. The alternator was replaced last year with rebuilt one made in Japan and new battery by me last year. Any ideas? Thanks

Clean the battery terminals and cables ... Get a small fine wire brush ...battery cable and battery posts should be bright and shiny before you snug up the cable clamps.
Get a can of electrical contact cleaner...spray alternator connector...also alternator ground connection. Check engine compartment ground bolts...one is located next to passenger strut housing...might be one or two others...Check ground connector clamp underneath dog bone engine mount ...use contact cleaner liberally.

Repeat from another post today but you can take it in to many auto parts stores and they will test your electrical system (battery & alternator) for free.
