Finally had to replace my ‘14 Corolla’s original alternator with 156k miles on it. I got a blinking and steady battery light on t here dash warning me. Since I have a new replacement battery and new serpentine belt, I figured it was the alternator. I had it checked at Autozone and it couldn’t even diagnose the alternator. Battery checked out fine.

Anyways, got the lifetime warranties Duralast alternator and installed it. No more battery light on the dash. Wish I’d gotten the Nippon Denso but I can’t wait the 3 days for my delivery at another shop.

It's tough when you are tight for time.
For future reference there are a few sites out there that provide spare parts for alternators, like this one
May even be able to find just the regulator/rectifier
Thanks I would’ve undertaken the task of replacing the regulator but I needed this car the next day...and thereafter. Besides, with that number of miles it was time to put it out to pasture.
