Not a surprising turn of events Toyota of Japan has also joined the club of killing of cars taking out the under powered Will Vs, but will keep the Will Cypha which looks like the offspring of a Mini Cooper and a Caddy.
and fyi, OEM headlights aren't actually tested at all, it's once the NHSTA gets a lot of complaints that tehy "audit" and check whatever headlights, and make a manufacturer change them.
however, if u were to make your own headlights and try to get tehm DOT legal, it costs like 10k to prove that they're all legal, and that's just for the testing, prolly got to get a lawyer and shit too.
i haven't seen any headlights with blinkers in between the two headlamps since GM stopped making the Olds Firenza. They shouldn't pass since with highbeams on other drivers could have difficulty seeing the blinkers when they're on.
I know its stupid, but this is America - the land of absurd vehicle laws.
