Here is a follow up to my first vid where I installed the unit & now a review.

This is a follow up to my 1st video. In this vid we take a look at the Head unit. Some quick specs on the unit:
Quad Core
1GB RAM
2Gb ROM, 16 GB NAND FLASH
1024x600 HD SCREEN
ANDROID 5.1.1
2 SD CARD SLOTS, 2 USB DONGLES, 1 USB PORT UP FRONT
REMOTE CONTROL, BUILT IN MIC, EXTERNAL MIC, GPS
Many more...
Overall it is a great unit, does everything it should. Customer support from Joying is great.
PROS:
FAST GPS, QUICK BLOOTH CONNECTION, CLEAR CALLS, FAST VOICE SEARCH/COMMANDS, CLEAR SCREEN, COMPATICABLE WITH BACKUP CAMERA, ANDROID OPEN ENDED FEATURES, SOUNDS, BOOTUP TIME
CONS: NOT ENOUGH RAM & ROM, SCREEN TOO REFLECTIVE & GLARES A LOT IN SUN, NO HEAT SINK.

nice review, you mentioned it should be possible to use the stock USB from the corolla, have you tried this or verified this? Also i dont remember you mentioning AUX, does it have an AUX in, and can we get it to use the stock AUX from the corolla?

Thanks for replying to my questions in your youtube video. Here's the answer to my question for anyone else wondering

HEADS UP GUYS: This headunit seems like the most updated and has the most customer service friendly company of all the dozens of copy-cat Android 4.4.4 and 5.1.1 corolla radios. Way better than the Win CE radios, and probably better than the old Rosen too due to the new features it has. I'll be seriously considering this model. The only original feature you might not be able to use is AUX in, but everything else seems to be intact.

And since it runs on android, there's a small community that modifies the OS for slightly more customization and features, but for now it's mostly slowing down the headunit since the modded OS has bloatware that uses too much of the small 1GB of system RAM.

Yes you are right there is a lot of customization. Just head to XDA and you can see all the custom ROMS. So far I am happy with it, using it in hot temp and all is good. For day to day use response is more than enough. As for aux I don't miss that feature since there are so many alternate ways. Maybe if you wait a bit longer they will probably release the 2GB RAM versions!
