Thats interesting..
Most of you here are probably too young to remember a weekly program called " The 21st Century", hosted by Walter Kronkite. Like Sammy stated, we were suppose to have flying cars, robot maids, and man was suppose to walk on Mars 10 years ago!
Unfortunately, politics has stopped much of this-especially our space program..
Eyeball96 may remember this show.. As a kid, it would get my imagination reeling...

Russ, I think one of the biggest "crimes" ever committed by the space bureaucracy was when the destroyed all the tooling and blueprints for the Saturn V booster. The powers that be didn't want anything to compete with the Space Shuttle and ordered their destruction. :headbang: With thinking like that, it's no wonder we never went back to the Moon, never landed a man on Mars, have a broke-d**k space station, and lost two shuttles and 14 lives.
