Another question

Hey guys i have another question for you if i bought a 89 corolla im not sure which engine im sure its probley a 4af or 4afe but the trans mission is shot would the trans from my 87 4alc boolt up and work and if it does will my cv shafts work they are the kind that bolt to the trans so i dont know if i could use the ae92 shafts with it well let le know you guys have been a great help.
