You know I will let you borrow my GS rims for a few days so you don't have to spend the money!Nice. What are the exact tire specs/measurements? All these GS wheel threads are making me want to get my own set of GS wheels to replace my stock stealies![]()
Yeah, I agree, this car is not only itching for a drop but I already have the TRD springs. The shop that installed the rims unfortunately didn't install springs. My concern is that I don't want to rub. I notice that I only have about 2" between the strut tower and the top of the tire in the rear. I knew it would be close when I used these tires, but I couldn't pass up the deal ($450 Eagle F1's 245/40ZR18's). But as another TNer said, and I agree, for only $450 I need to drop it. I hope to have it done by next weekend, but it depends on what the shop says about the rubbing potential.loving the electric blue. GS rims go so well w/ the gen6s.

You won't rub with GS rims + TRD springs. It's the same setup as my car.Yeah, I agree, this car is not only itching for a drop but I already have the TRD springs. OK------I'll take your advice, but I SURE hope it doesn't, because I commute over 100 miles a day and that would make for a very annoying ride. However, I have the 440 watt stereo to cover most of the noice. :smokin:You won't rub with GS rims + TRD springs. It's the same setup as my car.

Lammydi - you have 245 rubber as well? I think that is what makes the shop thinking.
