I don't like / don't understand the default settings for A/C and heat on my 2013 Highlander. Is there a way to somehow set the defaults? For example, I'd rather the A/C not come on when I press 'Auto' if the temp is already below, say, 60 degrees. I think the idea is to defog the windows, but if I want that done I can press defrost. Also, in the summer, if I get in the car and it is hot, auto seems to always want to turn on full fans and recirculate. I know its programmed to cool it down quick, but I'd rather have outside air, not recirculated air. I know I can do all of this manually, but wondered if there was a way to teach the 'Auto' setting to use my own defaults.

There are a few configurable options, but you will either have to have the dealer do them or get a TIS to program yourself.
