A friend of my wifes brought her Highlander in for regular scheduled maintenance and was told the "chassis pulls" needed to be tightened.
She thought it sounded unusual and asked me if this was a legit item.
I have never heard of it, and could not find anything on google or other car sights.
Anyone know what they might have been referring to??
Is this similar to the infamous muffler belt and blinker fluid.
Thanks, Burnsie

Most likely some slang/term for something.

I remember my old cadillac where I was told to replace the "knuckle"

What ????? I said.

In my case it meant the steering knuckle where you secure the two bolts that locks the brake calipers in place.

Or when I went to the part shop and asked for a pair of "boot and bonnet" shockers for my cadillac. I got what I wanted eventually.

Sounds like a bullsh*@ story to me. Next they'll say you need a muffler bearing and a flux capacitor.

I worked at a Chrysler dealer for 11 years and never heard of that term.

I agree that's the type of B.S. term they sling at women and the elderly who don't know any better. Whenever my sisters or their girlfriends go for any kind of auto work I always go along just to make sure they're not taken.

Beware of having to change over from 'winter' air to 'summer' air in the tires as well!
