That's regular price lol. They're just saying it is 50% off to advertise. I usually get a whole kit for $70 shipped.

ok..well do u think its a good kit though?
those are single beam. i take it that means exactly what it says and you will no longer have dim and then high beam? if so, that sucks.
I have bought 3 kits from them for different cars, and all of my friends run them. The H4s come with a halogen bulb built in for high beams.

let us know how well they work. i might consider a set.
If your going to buy a kit that cheap, dont expect it to last long...

well what do u suggest? have u tried and tested a cheaper kit vs a expensive kit??
So, after your posted I became interested has I have ordered HID for my truck.

Seems like those kits from VVME are getting rave reviews. Even if it does only last you 1 year or 2 that is the same cost as a decent set of replacement halogen bulbs.

I can't find anything bad about them from people who own them.

Only bad reviews are from skeptical people who don't own which have no experience with the product to back up their bashing.

i do wonder how it can be for such a cheap price but lots of other forums and sites have great reviews from numerous people.

Id say go for it. Worst case scenario your out $100 max.

That's exactly what I am saying though.

You have experience with others but not the VVME's so its not relevant to the original question.

One thing I have noticed about this forum is that so many people get so off topic or post information not useful to the original question. Not ranting, just that it makes the thread really long and never gets an answer to the original question.

I just ordered a set of Bi-Xenon 6000k. Heck $98 for Bi-xenon HIDs shipped, why not? Like I said, worst case I'm out $100. I've already got Projector headlights ordered, i know they wont be as good as OEM or retrofitting but thats my choice. So, I'll give them a go and see what happens for myself.

problem is they will probably arrive before the truck so it'll likely be 2 months before I can report back.
People can bash all they want, they do not know what they are talking about. I love it when people jump to conclusion that the cheap kits suck because of what another person made up because they have never personally used them. I have only had a bad bulb shipped to me. That cost ALL of $4.99+ shipping for a PAIR, to replace. You cannot go wrong with these kits.

well, lets see, you didnt answer the original question of the thread either which was...

"there 50% off right now! plug n play kits...oughta be worth trying"

i was giving information what was useful and on topic of how the thread was developing...

+1

Im not saying that its a bad kit, it could last long and work well, but ive known a good amount of people that spent less than $100 for their HID kits and didnt work well or last too long.

Ive personally never bought a cheap HID kit, I prefer to pay that extra $100-200 for a dependable kit. Ive had about 4 HID kits on 4 different cars and never had any problems..

Btw, x1 is still just 1. I think you meant +1, or x2?
